Forty-four qualifiers and guests from a regional insurance agency spent five nights in Cabo San Lucas. Yacht day, Land's End, and an awards night on the sand.
A multi-office insurance agency in Texas had run its own President's Club in Cabo for two years and wanted the same destination with none of the planning load. Twenty-two qualifiers, each with a guest, for five nights in January.
The resort stayed the same as the agency's previous year because the group liked it. What changed was everything around it. We handled the room block, the arrival transfers across two days of staggered flights, a welcome dinner, the catamaran afternoon, and an awards night on the beach that the agency had previously held in a hotel ballroom.
With couples in the group, we built the middle of the trip in two tracks. One half rode ATVs through the desert on the morning of day three while the other half took the spa. Everyone was back together for the catamaran that afternoon.
Two hosts travelled with the group, which we recommend at this size with partners involved. One stayed at the resort as the point of contact while the other ran each excursion.
