Website prices are starting points, not offers. Every trip runs under its own signed agreement, which sets the itinerary, headcount, price, payment schedule, and cancellation terms, and that agreement controls if it ever differs from this page.
These terms govern your use of this website and set out the general basis on which SV Travel Ventures, Inc., doing business as Tripio Travel ("Tripio," "we," "us"), provides group travel services. By using the site or contracting a trip, you agree to them. Each contracted trip is also governed by its own written trip agreement; where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement controls.
01Quotes and contracts
Prices on this website are per person, double occupancy, land only, representative of an average size group, and are not offers. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are subject to supplier availability. A trip is confirmed only when both parties sign a trip agreement and the deposit is received. Your agreement states the itinerary, dates, headcount range, inclusions and exclusions, per-person price, and payment schedule.
02Payments, changes, and cancellations
Deposits, payment schedules, headcount adjustments, and cancellation terms are set in each trip agreement. In general, a deposit secures dates and accommodations, the balance is due on the schedule in the agreement, and headcount can move within the contracted range up to the final-numbers date. Deposits and payments may be non-refundable to the extent we have committed them to suppliers on your behalf, and cancellation fees increase as the departure date approaches. Late payment may result in loss of reserved space.
03Travel documents and traveler responsibility
Each traveler is responsible for holding a passport valid for at least six months beyond the return date, any visas the destination requires, and for meeting its entry and health requirements. We tell travelers what is required and when, but we cannot obtain documents on their behalf, and missed travel for missing or invalid documents is not our responsibility and is not refundable. Travelers are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point on time unless flights are included in the agreement.
04Traveler conduct
Travelers are expected to follow the reasonable instructions of the Tripio host and local operators, and to respect local laws, suppliers, and fellow travelers. We may decline to continue services for a traveler whose behavior endangers safety or materially disrupts the group, without refund, and any resulting costs are the traveler's responsibility.
05Third-party suppliers
Trips are delivered with independent suppliers: hotels, transport operators, restaurants, and activity providers. We choose suppliers with care and manage them on the ground, but they are not our employees or agents, and services they provide are subject to their own terms and conditions, including their liability limits.
06Itinerary changes
Weather, safety, and supplier availability can require changes to an itinerary before or during a trip. Where a planned element cannot run, we substitute a comparable alternative wherever possible. Changes made for these reasons do not entitle travelers to a refund, though we pass on any supplier refunds we receive.
07Assumption of risk and insurance
Travel, including activities such as boating, hiking, water sports, and excursions, carries inherent risks that travelers accept by participating. Travelers are responsible for judging their own fitness for an activity and may opt out of any activity. We strongly recommend travel insurance for every traveler, covering medical care, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and interruption, and baggage.
08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tripio's total liability in connection with a trip is limited to the amount paid to Tripio for that traveler's participation in that trip. Tripio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses; for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers; or for events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, government actions, public health events, and carrier delays or cancellations.
09Website content
The content of this website, including text, photography, design, and the Tripio name and logo, belongs to Tripio or its licensors and may not be reused without written permission. We work to keep the site accurate, but itineraries, prices, and availability change, and the site is provided as-is without warranty of any kind.
10Governing law
These terms and each trip agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, unless the trip agreement says otherwise. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
